Joy doesn’t have to be a concept, joy is tangible. Even after the hardship of her journey and the physical endurance of labor, Mary held Jesus – Mary held joy. And to bring it to today, having health insurance and holding a bottle of the medicine you need is joy. Being a part of someone’s chosen family when their family has turned their back on them is joy. Giving a coat to someone in need is joy.
