Dance Classes
In our Salsa class, beginners learned the basics of “Salsa on One” in a relaxed environment where the emphasis was on having a good time.
In our Swing class, participants learned the basics of Swing dancing in a non-intimidating, absolutely beginner-welcoming environment where the emphasis was on having fun.

Elizabeth Grannis Award
Elizabeth Grannis (1840-1926), unknown to current members of The Park until she was discovered in a New York Times article by former pastor John W. Payne, may have been one of the congregation’s most influential women. Mrs. Grannis was an editor, ecumenist, social reformer, suffragist, and active member of First Church, Disciples of Christ, in New York City. Elizabeth made significant contributions to the church and to social reform efforts. She was a true trailblazer in advancing women in society.

Lifeline
Lifeline gathered Sundays at 6:00 pm to serve people in recovery from various forms of addiction. In the spirit of the 11th Step – sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God – we offered guidance in prayer and meditation, a talk about addiction and recovery, and plenty of singing.
