Even when wickedness is the rule of the land, our true ruler – the true reign which has full claim over our lives, our bodies and our souls – will bring that balm that heals the burn, will bring that sweet, fresh wind of the Holy Spirit, to infuse our spirits with just what we need. Call on God, call on Jesus Christ, because that is where the answer is. And that sweet wind of the Holy Spirit is tangibly expressed in love – in real love, agape love – the kind of love we don’t choose but that chooses us, that infuses us with the power of God, to love even when it’s really tough.
