“There is gorgeousness in the dark, and value , and there is beauty in the night sky and in obsidian skin, in having our eyes closed, in not having to see the colors all the time, in stepping back from the blinding light. We don’t blame the night sky for being night, we rest in it, where we can be held by every single feeling we have, and not just the happy ones.”
