Hello Everyone—

I just wanted to let you know about a SoulFood Fellowship that Sarah and I are starting this Friday night at 7 PM at our place in Washington Heights. We’re gonna study the book of Ephesians, a book I read and studied when I was 19 years old and was part of a four-person mission hike from Belize to Guatemala, walking through ancient Mayan cities with stepped pyramidal Temple structures. So we’re gonna talk about Ephesians through a postcolonial lens, as we think about prophetic Christian witness in the Americas today. I’m gonna cook up some Southern food, so let me know if you can join the fiesta.
