Plenty of “family” people will seek to do you harm. But know that God stands with you to stand strong. On the floor of Congress. Coming out of the subway. At work. At home. Tending your flock. Holding fast to your Rock. You are God’s child. As is everyone else on this planet. Only when we remember this, practice this and live into this universal truth, will every child of God be treated with the humanity every child of God deserves.
