If we are anticipating that God will just do whatever we want and make us feel good about everything we do, then we are looking for an idol of our own making, not for God. But if we are looking to be in relationship with the One, true and living God, then…we need to be prepared to be annoyed. Rattled. Frustrated. Confused.
