Inspired by our translation of the Lord’s prayer from The Rev. Dr. Wil Gafney, I broke the Lord’s prayer down into single words that are each their own prayer:

Hope
Nourish
Forgive
Protect
Trust

I hope that you might take some time today and reflect on what words come to you as we say the lord’s prayer at the table today and how might those simple words hold entire worlds of prayer for you and God?
