A bad shepherd is one who allows some sheep to over-indulge while others starve. If this is the state of our people, then we’re not being led properly. Period. Starving sheep mean we’re on the wrong path, doing the wrong things, prioritizing the wrong ways. It means leadership doesn’t care about everyone, it cares about some more than others and that was never the shepherd’s job.
