Somehow we talk ourselves out of liberation.

We find excuses for why people should not be free.

Rightful and just incarceration are certainly appropriate. There must be consequences for doing wrong things.

I just don’t understand why we accept that those consequences are unduly and disproportionately visited on the poor, on brown and Black people?

The crowds will drive people to their edge to put them in chains.

At some point: we have to join Jesus in saying:

Enough.
