A Message from Pastor Kaji
Dear Church:
This week, I thought we might take up the language of prayer – the Psalms. Our passage echoes the psalmist’s deep longing to walk in alignment with God.
As you prepare for Sunday, I’d ask this:
What practices might help you gaze upon the “wondrous things” God is revealing in your life right now?
Come ready to reflect, and perhaps even share, how the sacred has been showing up in your daily rhythms.
Can’t wait to see you in church!
Pax Christi,
Pastor Kaji
SCRIPTURE
Scripture: Psalm 119: 10 –18 (Year C, p. 51):
10 With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not stray from your commandments.
11 In my heart I treasure your word,
that I might not sin against you.
12 Blessed are you AGELESS ONE;
teach me your statutes.
13 With my lips I recount
all the judgements of your mouth.
14 Over the way of your testimony I delight
as much as over all riches.
15 On your precepts I meditate,
and I gaze upon your paths.
16 In your statutes I delight;
I will not forget your word.
17 Reward your slave,
that I may live and keep your word.
18 Open my eyes, so that I may gaze upon
wondrous things from your teaching.
