“Dressed in Grief: All Saints” by The Rev. Kaji Douša

November 1st,2026 Categories: Sunday Sermon, The Rev. Douša's Sermons

Grief has a way of covering everything. But God is still reaching for you beneath it all. ❤️

The memories. The empty spaces. The moments when pretending you’re fine takes everything you’ve got.

But here’s the promise: The shelter stays. The shroud comes down. 🙌🏽

God doesn’t ask you to hide your grief or hurry through your healing. God meets you in the middle of it—and gently reminds you that you don’t have to live there forever. 🌱

And sometimes, God’s comfort arrives in the most ordinary ways: a warm meal, a familiar hand, someone who stays when the tears come. 🫶🏽

God wipes away your tears. Sometimes, with somebody else’s hands. 💛
