Celebrating 216 Years of Faith, Generosity & Service

Join Park Avenue Christian Church for Anniversary Worship and Park Avenue Sets The Table

As autumn settles over New York City and children return to the familiar rhythms of the school year, Park Avenue Christian Church is preparing to celebrate a remarkable milestone: 216 years of faith, fellowship, and service.

For more than two centuries, our congregation has welcomed generations of worshippers, nurtured meaningful connections, and responded to the needs of our neighbors. This October, we invite you to honor that legacy through a special weekend of worship and hands-on service.

Sunday, October 11 | 216th Church Anniversary

Worship at 11:00 AM

Join us as we celebrate 216 years of Park Avenue Christian Church! Whether you’ve been part of our congregation for decades or are visiting for the first time, we welcome you to share in this meaningful occasion.

Monday, October 12 | Indigenous Peoples’ Day — Volunteer Packing

The celebration continues with Park Avenue Sets The Table, our initiative dedicated to providing fresh food kits to families with schoolchildren across New York City.

As students settle into their classrooms and families navigate the demands of the autumn season, these kits offer nourishment and practical support to households in neighborhoods throughout the city.

We’re inviting volunteers to help assemble the next round of food kits for distribution through our partner schools.

Tuesday, October 13 | Food Kit Distribution

Once the kits are packed, we’ll work with volunteers to deliver them to our partner schools, helping ensure that fresh food reaches the families they serve.

Whether you can join us for packing, distribution, or both, your participation helps extend the reach of this important initiative.

A Legacy of Generosity. A Future of Possibility.

Celebrating 216 years is about more than remembering where we’ve been. It’s an opportunity to carry forward the spirit of generosity that has sustained Park Avenue Christian Church for generations.

Join us for anniversary worship on Sunday, October 11, and help us put that generosity into action on October 12 and 13.
