Maybe we’re on that ark, trying to survive in the flood of our own making.
Maybe we’re looking past the waters trying to figure out what it means to step onto dry land.
Maybe God’s asking us to see it and to try and to be the kinds of leaders that didn’t sufficiently emerge before the flood.
Maybe we’re meant to step onto that dry land, to gather it in our hands, and to make our own promise:
Even if.
Never again.
