A Message from Pastor Kaji

Dear Church:
In Romans, the Apostle warns against becoming a “stumbling block” to our neighbors. What I love about worship this week is that we will explore how God is just the opposite: not an obstruction, but an opening to our spiritual growth.
In your devotions this week, I invite you to explore our text from Galatians. But, if you really want to go deep, take as deep of a dive as you can into Bob Marley’s Redemption Song. Listen to him with the question: what songs of freedom do I hold close? Where do I go when I’m feeling tied down?

Galatians 5:1 (NRSV):
1 For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.
