A Message from The Rev. Kaji Douša

January 26th,2023 Categories: Weekly Letter
Dear Ones,

The Holy Spirit continues to be in the air in worship! I’m thrilled for the ways you are showing up for yourselves and each other. We are in this together.Which leads me to this week’s theme. I’ll be preaching on community and how God puts help in our lives. Elders will be leading worship, as this is one of the Sundays I am able to take off for rest. I give abundant thanks to our Elders for your dedication and faith!

You all remain in my prayers.

With love,

Pastor Kaji

Scripture: Matthew 4:18-22 (Year A, p. 113):

18 As Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea for they were fisherfolk. 19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people—women, children, and men.” 20 At once they left their nets and followed him. 21 As Jesus went from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets, and he called them. 22 At once they left the boat and their father and followed him.
