Children and Youth Ministry Update from Nordia Bennett, Children’s Minister

I am always in deep awe of how profound youth’s determination to show up and contribute to our brave spaces every Sunday. It has been a pleasure working with you and more importantly it has been a pleasure to be in community with the youth, to learn from them, and love them has truly been an honor. I want to share with a grateful heart, I will be transitioning out of my role at Park Avenue Christian Church as the Children’s Minister. It truly has been an honor.

Last Sunday, the 10:00 am (4th grade or older) youth explored 2 Kings 4:42-44. We had the opportunity to talk about the abundance of sharing in community and how we’re able create places where we are feeling poured into whether it’s activities or people.

This Sunday, the 10:00 am (4th grade or older) youth and the 10:30 am (3rd grade or younger) children will close out our time together with community reflection and games.
