The Park Reads

Want to know what your pastors, your elders, and others at your church are reading? The Park Reads is a new initiative to encourage members of our community to read the same book over the same period and then join with others in different locations and times to discuss the book.

We've been reading Christianity For the Rest of Us by Diana Butler Bass.
Copies of the book are available from Pastor Jen after worship for a cost of $11 (less than the retail price). This is a great book about how local churches who have decided to do “church” differently are transforming the faith. Sound familiar?

We've had book groups on the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side. With this new initiative, there are book conversations happening all over the city!
